Welcome to my little spot on the 'net.  Just follow the links below for navigation to other pages.  Thanks to a friend from work, I have moved my web page server to another ISP as Bellsouth really is a pain in the arse!  This is a brand new page, so it will be a while until its totally up...  Yes I know, this is pretty basic, but I hacked this thing out pretty quick using Netscape's Composer.

My main interest:  Building a full sized R2-D2 full operational droid and flight simulation (20+ years experience)

The latest simulator I was involved in that was delivered to the U.S. Navy.
It was a high-fidelity  F/A-18C Block 21 model.  I was the lead Hardware Engineer on this program.  There is a shot of the main F/A-18 instrument panel.

The competed SAMT (Simulated Aircraft Maintenace Trainer) installed at the Navy base in Lemoore CA.  The two plasma displays have touch screens installed so the students can interact with the cockpit and the 3-D aircraft on the left screen.

I will be updating and making the page more user friendly in the near future.  Also a new URL is in the works, so stand by while we ork on the page.

 06/07/07 - First gig with R2 and a broken center ankle!  Was at my nephew's wedding and his Center Foot sheered off!

 03/18/07 - Have added a LOT of R2 information.  Building progress pictures, meetings, etc.  Check them out under the R2-D2 section.  I now have just about ALL parts to complete R2!  It's taken over two years, but going to be worth it... :)

   02/15/06 - Currently updating a lot of the site.  Please email me if you find any broken links, missing pictures, etc.

   02/18/06 - Added a page under R2 section on our 02/17/05 R2 Florida/Southern Builders "Mini Meet".

   02/24/06 - Added main page visitor counter.  Still in process of a frame or button navigation page...

   03/04/06 - Updated some R2 progress pictures : Gluing on some dome panels (finally!).

   04/14/06 - We had another R2 Builders Mini-meet and a great turnout.  Pictures under R2 links.

   08/26/06 - We had an awesome Southern R2 Builders Meeting and finally had 2 operational R2-D2's, C3PO and a Jawa...

• Design and Construction of an R2-D2 Droid : Building my little buddy! -- Finally started on a life long dream of building a semi-fully functioning R2 Astromech Robot!  Ever since I saw the original movie I've always wanted to build one.  Found the R2 Builders group on the Internet and, well... the rest is history...

• Design and Construction of an Graflex ANH Luke Skywalker Light Saber -- Another item I have allways wanted to make.  This link will take you to my lightsaber constrution page.

• Flight Simulation -- I have been involved in military and commercial flight simulation for almost 20 years, both from the hardware and software aspects.  This link is related to this discipline.

• Forums Page -- There is a personal forum page for mainly our Florida R2 Builders Group.  If you are a local (or any R2 builder) please register as we are trying to get a formal local builders group formed.  We already have several members that meet on a regular basis to show off parts, progress, share idea's, and have a great time!
