Here are some ot the pictures from our First official Florida R2 Builders "Mini Meet" held Friday night, February 17th, 2006 at my work place.  It was a meeting that "just happened" and didn't have much time to inform others.  Wish more could have made it.  We have a lot of these between Keith, Carolyn and myself since we are close and are helping each other out getting our R2's built!  Below are few of the many pictures I took.  Keith has  a lot more that will be added later.  Many thanks for Doug Dixon for bringing his awesome dome, with real Viscount HP's!

Here is the group!  R2 parts everywhere.
Sitting is Keith and Carolyn, Standing is myself (left) and
Doug Dixon (I need to stand on a milk crate next time!)
R&J dome city baby!

Here is Keith and Carolyn.  Keith is checking out
some of my R2 parts (no stealing' ;-).  Carolyn is doing
some work on their wood JAG V2 frame.

Another shot of Carolyn working on their frame
and a look at their brand new R&J dome!  Nice
job guys!

Another shot of Keith and Carolyn's Dome.
You wont have to cut the inner dome on this baby!

With all the parts laying around, Keith was like
a photographer at at Playboy Bunny shoot!

A shot of some of my collected parts, JAG's
center ankle and foot, Keith Henry's great
resin parts, Andy's Layered Shoulders, JAG's
Leg, Ron's Booster Cover, Ron's AL Utility
Arms, Azman's HP, Wayne Orr's Vent Surrounds,
etc.

My periscope kit.  Keith and I are _still_ trying
to figure out how to put this baby together!

Pix of my current JAG V2 wood frame and
my dome progress.  Just installed Guy Averett''s
Center Foot mounting hardware.  Awaiting
JAG's new AL frame run to finish up...

Doug Dixon proudly holding his finished dome.
We all gawked at it, fiber optics sure are nice!
Thanks for coming Doug!

Doug is checking out the F/A-18 simulator.  R2 has
already repaired the power converter and Doug is
on his way to meet with Red 6, we are going in!

Here is a shot of starting to modify the Big Lots
Scooters for mounting in Kelly's budget feet.

Keith and Carolyn's Front Vent's.

Keith and Carolyn's PSI assemblies.  They made
these using Keith Henry's housings and the
Fiber optic Products R2-D2 LED driver boards.

And... they put a restraining bolt on me.  I finally found
a way to remove it ;-)

That's about it, still may get some more pictures from Keith and Carolyn.  Thanks all for coming out!  See you next meeting!
