This page will be
showing some of the
construction of my R2 droid.
I've been doing more research than building lately, but now have most
major parts I need to get going! Still not quite sure when he
will be done, sometimes it takes years... but will be great when R2
finally becomes reality!
For the new builder, the best thing you
can do again is read and research, and the next is get on those parts
runs when the become available because sometimes another run for a
particular part wont happen again for some time, if ever!
I've
tried to include "Builders Notes:" to help out fellow
builders.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or just join
the R2 Builders group. Probably will break these progress
pages
into separate links, this thing is going to get big!

03/18/07 : Added feet/foot constuction page.
03/14/07 : Made separate links for leg and drive assembly as it was getting big!
02/04/07 : Added page showing R2's skin assembly and associated parts.
07/29/06 : Have updated the progress pictures and notes into separate
sections.
09/05/06 : Added an Electronics progress page. Documents and
shows the internal workings of the PCB's and on-board PC.
